Ceramics
Your information
Privacy
This page explains what personal information Camille Ducret Ceramics may collect, why it is needed, and how you can contact me about it.
Information collected
I may collect information that you provide when you make an enquiry, join the newsletter, purchase a ceramic piece, or book a workshop or class. This can include your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery details, order history, and the contents of messages you send.
For children’s classes, I may also collect the child’s name and age, parent or guardian details, emergency contact information, and relevant health, accessibility, safety, collection or photography information needed to run the class responsibly.
How information is collected and held
Information is collected directly from you through website forms, checkout, email, telephone, text message, or in-person communication. The website may also record limited technical information, such as your device, browser, IP address and activity needed for security, cart functions and reliable operation.
Personal information may be held in the website, email, booking, payment, order and business-record systems used to provide these services.
How it is used
Your information is used only where it is needed to reply to you, manage orders and delivery, arrange studio visits, administer workshops and classes, keep appropriate business records, send studio news you have chosen to receive, and maintain the security and operation of the website.
You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails at any time by using the link in the email or contacting me directly.
Website analytics and advertising
For visitors outside the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, the website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how the website is used and to measure the effectiveness of advertising. Google may receive the page visited, campaign or referral information, device and browser information, IP address and general location, and non-personal interaction and purchase-event information such as an item category, value and currency.
Google measurement is not loaded for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland, or when location cannot be determined. Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, messages, order notes, and workshop or children’s-class enrolment information are not sent to analytics. Enhanced conversions, remarketing and personalised advertising audiences are not used at launch. Google Analytics user-level and event-level exploration data is retained for 14 months. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Payments and service providers
Payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. Camille Ducret Ceramics does not receive or store your complete card details.
Information may be handled by trusted providers that support the website, payments, email, order fulfilment and delivery. They receive only the information needed to provide their service. Some providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, reasonable steps are taken to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately.
Keeping information safe
Reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Information is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate business records, or where the law requires it.
Access to children’s class information is limited to what is needed to administer the class safely.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
You can ask what personal information I hold about you, request access or correction, or raise a privacy concern. Email or text me using the details on the Contact page. I will acknowledge your request and aim to respond within 30 days.
