Learning through making

Room for their own ideas.

Children learn practical hand-building skills while being encouraged to experiment, follow their curiosity and make pieces that feel distinctly their own. Clay gives busy hands and curious minds a playful reason to pause, concentrate and notice what is happening right now.

Across the term, children can try surprising ideas, change direction, get gloriously muddy and laugh when the clay has other plans. Making alongside one another builds confidence, patience and creativity, while every child is free to make something completely different.

Coming in 2027

More than making

Curious minds.Ready hands.Ideas of their own.

Clay gives children a playful reason to pause, focus and stay with what is happening in their hands. With clear demonstrations and close support, they can concentrate, navigate small wobbly moments, test surprising ideas and laugh when the clay has plans of its own. Along the way, they build confidence, creativity and the satisfaction of making something genuinely theirs.
